If you previously connected the game to one of the supported accounts (such as Google, Facebook, or Apple ID — see the article How do I save my game progress? for more details), you can restore your progress on your own.
What to do if the game restarted and didn’t prompt to load progress:
- Complete the initial tutorial
– This unlocks the settings button and the account login option.
- Log in using the same account the game was linked to previously:
– Google account — for Android
– Apple ID / iCloud — for iOS
– Facebook — if used on the old device
- Load your progress
– After logging in, a prompt will appear asking to restore the progress associated with your account. Select your town and enter CONFIRM to confirm.
Useful information to keep about your town:
– The exact name and level of your city, including capitalization, spaces, and punctuation. Example: “Los-Angeles” and “los angeles” are considered different names.
– Co-op tag (in the format #XXXXXX, found in the co-op menu).
– Friend invitation code.
