Some levels can be challenging, but none are impossible! If you’re stuck, try adjusting your strategy and using boosters wisely — the right move can change everything 💪

Start with a plan

  • Before starting the level, check the goals so you know which tiles and obstacles to focus on first.
  • Study the board and plan your opening moves instead of making random matches.
  • Try to make matches near the bottom of the field to trigger chain reactions.
  • Use boosters — you can select pre-level boosters, create boosters on the board, or use boosters during the level.

Boosters activated before a level

These boosters are selected before starting the level and activate automatically:
Rocket — clears one row or one column.
Dynamite — destroys nearby elements.
Rainbow Ball — removes all elements of one color.

Boosters created on the board

In Township match-3 levels, boosters can be created by matching tiles in specific shapes:

Rocket

How to create rocket: Match 4 tiles in a straight line
Effect: Clears one full row or one full column

Dynamite

How to create dynamite: Match 5 tiles in an L- or T-shape
Effect: Explodes and clears tiles in a large radius

Helicopter

How to create helicopter: Match 4 tiles in a 2×2 square
Effect: Flies to a target and removes it, often hitting blocked or important tiles

Rainbow Ball

How to create Rainbow Ball: Match 5 tiles in a straight line
Effect: Clears all tiles of the color you swap it with

Booster combinations

Combining boosters makes them much stronger and can help beat very hard levels:

Rocket + Rocket — clears multiple rows and columns.
Rocket + Dynamite — large cross-shaped explosion.
Dynamite + Dynamite — massive area explosion.
Helicopter + any booster — clears multiple targets.
Rainbow Ball + any color tile — clears those tiles from the field.
Rainbow Ball + Rainbow Ball — clears the entire board.

Boosters available to obtain during a level on the right-hand side of the board

These boosters can be activated manually while playing:

Jackhammer — destroys one selected tile.
Drill — clears a selected row.
Weight — clears a selected column.
Fan — shuffles all tiles and boosters on the board.
