Compete with your friends in the new Weekly Tournament in Township!

What is the Weekly Tournament?

  • A recurring event where players earn points by completing match-3 levels.

  • Each completed level = 1 point.

  • Players are placed into a personal group of 10 participants (you + 9 opponents).

  • At the end of the week, the top 3 players receive rewards.

  • The event is available through the Tournament icon (trophy) on the main game screen.

How do I participate?

  • The tournament becomes available at match-3 level 47.

  • After reaching level 47, you’ll be able to join starting the following Monday at 9:00 UTC.

  • No additional registration is required — players are automatically placed in a group when the tournament begins.

  • An internet connection is required to update progress and claim rewards.

How are leaderboards formed?

  • Active friends are added to your group first.

  • If there aren’t enough friends, the system adds random players with similar progress.

  • Each player’s leaderboard is personal.
    👉 This means that:

    • You see your own set of participants, including some friends who made it into your group.

    • Your friend may have a completely different set of opponents in their leaderboard (and you as well).

    • As a result, your friend could be in 1st place in their leaderboard, while in yours they might appear as 2nd or lower. This is normal and doesn’t affect rewards — players only get prizes based on their own personal leaderboard position.

What rewards can I get?

  • Only the top 3 players receive rewards:

    • 🥇 1st place: Premium card pack, boosters, ingots, coupons.

    • 🥈 2nd place: Smaller card pack, boosters, ingots, coupons.

    • 🥉 3rd place: Small card pack, booster, ingot.

❗ Rewards must be claimed manually via the Claim button.

Can I play without an internet connection?

  • You can play match-3 levels offline, and points are saved locally.

  • Leaderboard updates and reward collection are only possible when connected to the internet.

Will I always see my friends in the leaderboard?

  • Not always. Leaderboards are generated individually.

  • A friend might appear in your leaderboard, but you may not appear in theirs.

  • This system ensures fair matchmaking and doesn’t affect how rewards are distributed.
