To increase your town’s population:

1. Build community buildings.

2. These don’t add residents directly but instead raise your population cap — the maximum number of residents your town can have.

3. Build houses.

4. Houses add residents and fill the available population cap.

In the top-left corner of the screen, you can see information about your town’s population:

• Population — the current number of residents.

• Population cap — the maximum number of residents allowed at the moment.

The population cap increases by building community buildings, which become available as you progress through levels.
