Activate tools twice next to the cassette recorder to open it. Afterward, several cassettes will appear on the field. Collect cassette tapes by matching pieces of the corresponding color or by using tools and power-ups.

NOTE: Matches don't affect the cassette recorder itself, but they allow you to pick the cassettes.
