Grassy tiles can have pieces, power-ups, or other elements located on them. To spread the grass, you must make a match with at least one piece located on a green tile. This action will spread the grass to the other tiles with pieces you matched.

Power-ups and tools also spread the grass onto free tiles. Once the grass takes up the entire game field and all the level goals are accomplished, you move on to the next level.

NOTE: Power-ups and tools only spread the grass if they're located on it or are moved to an adjacent tile.
