Flares can be collected while the competition is ongoing by setting off explosive power-ups such as Firecrackers, Bombs, Dynamite, and Warheads (the bigger the power-up, the more flares it will net you). Detonate multiple power-ups at the same time to accumulate even more flares 🙌🏻

Flares are only counted on levels you successfully overcome 🏋️
Detonating Lightning and Energy Blasts will not gain you any flares 🙅‍♂️
